Established in 1719, Belhaven Brewery is the oldest working brewery in Scotland. Situated in Dunbar, the brewery nestles amongst the rolling barley fields of East Lothian, just 20 miles from Edinburgh. As the home of Scottish Brewing, we pride ourselves in producing the Nation’s No.1 Ale (Belhaven Best) and No.1 Stout (Belhaven Black), alongside our award winning range of craft beers and ales, all made using our fresh water source, local barley and unique Belhaven yeast.
We are excited to open our brewery gates to the public this Summer, giving visitors the opportunity to view our iconic chimneys, secret garden and our brand new visitor experience. You’ll learn all about the history of Belhaven Brewery and the brewing process and you’ll finishing the tour in our very own pub – the Monks Retreat - where you’ll sample some of our award winning beers!
