Humbie

The rural village of Humbie is a small community of only a few hundred people at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills 10miles (16km) southwest of Haddington. It is a popular stopping off point with cyclists (especially as The Humbie Hub serves such great food!). This little hamlet is set around a church and primary school.

Formerly part of the Barony of Keith you can discover several old buildings relating to its history including a B-listed Baronial country house, the Keith Marischal also known as Haide Castle. Humbie Parish church dates back to the 18th century.
