Miles of beautiful coastline make East Lothian a paradise for watersports enthusiasts.
Dunbar is the area's surfing hub, where Belhaven Surf Centre offers activities including surfing, stand up paddleboarding and yoga. North Berwick is renowned for sailing, while both locations provide excellent diving opportunities, allowing visitors to discover shipwrecks and explore fascinating underwater caves.
Conditions along much of the coast, particularly at Longniddry, are ideal for kitesurfing, windsurfing and wingfoiling. From wide sandy beaches to dramatic rocky shores, East Lothian's varied coastline also provides the perfect setting for exhilarating coasteering adventures.
The UK's first cable wakeboard park can be found at Foxlake Adventures where visitors can also challenge themselves on an exciting aerial ropes course above the water.
