Boat Trips
A boat trip is a must during any visit to East Lothian. Head out into the water to experience the area's stunning coastline from a different perspective and discover the islands that lie just offshore. You may even have the opportunity to land on the world-famous Bass Rock and get up close to its incredible wildlife, including dolphins, seals, seabirds and, if you're lucky, whales.
A number of islands are dotted along the East Lothian coastline, each with its own unique history and natural heritage. While they can be admired from the shore, there's nothing quite like seeing them up close on a boat trip and experiencing the spectacular scenery and wildlife for yourself.
