John Muir Country Park
John Muir Country Park is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of the East Lothian coastline and offers a range of wildlife habitats that people of all ages enjoy. The Park is dedicated to naturalist, explorer and conservationist, John Muir.
It's a great place to explore with the kids and there is a large outdoor play area and picnic tables.

How to Get There
Car/Bike
From the A1 at Thistly Cross roundabout, take the turning towards Dunbar/East Linton/North Berwick. Arriving soon after at a second roundabout, turn right (along the A1087 signposted Dunbar). After one kilometre, turn left and follow signs into Linkfield car park which is clearly signposted.
Bus
East Coast Buses operate services between Edinburgh and Dunbar, ask the driver to drop you off near to John Muir Country Park.
Train
Scotrail service operate to Dunbar from both Edinburgh and LNER also run services between Edinburgh and Dunbar and from the south. From Dunbar train station, it is a 15 minute walk to the east end of John Muir Country Park.
