The Quartermaster's House is the first in a terrace of original coastguard cottages. Being the Quartermaster's house, it is the biggest! The rocket house is at the other end of the row.
Completely refurbished in 2012 we have enjoyed making the most of the many lovely Victorian features which remain in the house - whilst bringing in some modern technology too. The location could hardly be better to enjoy the seaside, being directly across the road from the beach with sea views and a large south facing walled garden. We're so pleased with how it has turned out! Everything for this house has been made in the UK, from the paint and the wallpaper on the walls, right through to the cutley and china on the table. This has proven to be a very enlightening process! And one that we will endeavour to carry-on through everything that we purchase in the future for all the other houses.
