The Chalet, Holidays for All is a purpose built 3 bedroom chalet for up to 6 guests. The master bedroom contains two electric lifting beds, available as a twin or double room. This room features a ceiling track hoist (guests must bring their own sling) with movement from the bed into the ensuite wet room. The wet room has a shower, sink and Clos-o-mat toilet which offers a wash and dry facility. The hoist will carry guests to the toilet or shower where they can sit in a chair whilst showering. This room has a flat screen TV and a wardrobe for storage. Two other bedrooms have the option of being a double or twin room which allows for carers to come with a family if necessary. Both rooms have built in storage. The bathroom is equipped with shower above the bath, sink and toilet. The kitchen/living room is a large area which is perfect for spending quality time together.
Large windows and doors have magnificent views over the Firth of Forth, May Island, Bass Rock and the town of Dunbar. The kitchen has amenities at a height to be accessed from a wheelchair; this includes the oven and microwave and lowered worktop. The unit under the cooker and sink can be removed to allow wheelchair access. The living space has seating for 6, flat screen TV and DVD player. Access to a large decking area is from this room. Enjoy stunning sunsets from either the decking or the living area.
