The Bonnie Badger is the new charming hotel with a pub, restaurant, rooms and garden created by husband and wife team, Tom & Michaela Kitchin. After an extensive renovation and refurbishment undertaken by the Kitchin family, The Bonnie Badger proudly opened its doors in December 2018. The hotel has undertaken a significant transformation, restoring and displaying many of the building's original charm and features. The main house proudly expresses a genuine home away from home ethos where guests instantly connect with its charming decor.
The charming Bonnie Badger hotel features 13 individually designed en-suite bedrooms located in the main house and over two cottages at the rear of the garden. The individually designed bedrooms feature designer wallpaper by Scottish artist, Mairi Helena, alongside carefully selected fabrics and soft furnishings, all reflecting the colour palette of the charming East Lothian landscape. Using only seasonal, local produce and an impressive display of artisan beers and wine selection, The Bonnie Badger menu offers a modern take on pub classics in line with Chef Tom Kitchin's 'From Nature to Plate' philosophy which has become synonymous with the group's other restaurants in Edinburgh. Head Chef, Matthew and his team remain true to the values of the ethos by championing seasonal produce and working closely with local producers and farmers.
