Cockenzie House and Gardens is a hidden gem, surrounded by trees and listed under walls. We are thirty seconds away from the John Muir Way and the shores of the Firth of Forth, on a direct bus route to the centre of Edinburgh and close to Scotland's finest golf course. Staying in the Mercat Cottage, which sleeps up to six people and is styled to accommodate the history of Cockenzie & Port Seton, you will sleep in the 'Bloomin' Room or the Power Station Room and relax in the 'Heritage Room'. Your comfortable kitchen/living room with television has access to your own patio looking out on to our listed gardens.
We have a Tea Room on site selling a delicious range of cakes, excellent coffees and teas and light meals. Hecia Gallery is also on site, exhibiting beautiful art and craft by local and national artists. As well as the Cadell Gift Shop, this is a perfect place to buy a keepsake of your visit to Cockenzie House and Gardens.
