The Glen, East Links is a tricky combination of seaside links and headland holes, where the game has been played as far back as the 17th century. Over 100 years old, the original course design was provided by five times Open Champion James Braid and fellow golf professional Ben Sayers. This is a golfing experience that is not to be missed, offering a challenging and enjoyable test of golf for all levels. Elevated tees and greens throughout the course mean that careful club selection, consistency and confidence in iron play is vital. It is a year round course, benefiting from the drier East Lothian climate. Previous visitors frequently comment on the breath-taking panoramic views and in particular the dramatic 13th hole, which tend to linger long in the memory of all who play here.
Once in the clubhouse, visitors can continue to take-in the fantastic seascape views while enjoying a quality dining experience.
