For a wedding venue rich in character and history, Dunbar Town House offers a truly unique setting. One of the town’s oldest buildings, it’s easily recognised by its striking clock tower and distinctive “witches hat” spire. For more than 400 years, it’s been at the heart of Dunbar life – serving as council chambers, court, jail, library, and now a museum and gallery.
Ceremonies take place in the beautifully preserved, wood-panelled Council Chamber – an atmospheric space ideal for intimate weddings of up to 30 guests. Before the ceremony, guests can explore the rotating exhibitions in the gallery downstairs, adding an extra cultural touch to your day.
The venue includes lift access and accessible toilets, and allows for biodegradable confetti. Music and floral arrangements can be provided or arranged in advance. Plus, with the beach and harbour just a short walk away, you’ll find stunning backdrops for your wedding photos.
