At the heart of Colstoun Estate is a country house of great historical significance. It has been in the Broun family for over 900 years and remains so to this day. Around 30 minutes from the center of Edinburgh it is set in the middle of a 2000 acre estate of both farm and parkland. Colstoun is the perfect secluded escape from the city. Colstoun is the perfect venue for your Private Party. When you host your party at Colstoun the estate becomes yours. With almost 2000 acres of farm, woods and park at your disposal; Colstoun is yours for you and your guests to enjoy. Our in house team will develop a programme for your event ensuring things run smoothly, and staff will be on hand to take care of all your needs.
Colstoun has a tremendous capacity for providing large events to the very small and intimate, we can host meals for up to 36 people. The Drawing Room can hold up to 100 people for wedding ceremonies or 50 guests for meals. It's the perfect unique venue for a wedding hosting wedding receptions of up to 50 guests and ceremonies for 100 guests in the historic drawing room. Ceremonies can also be held in 'The Polytunnel' with a capacity of up to 200 people or you are more than welcome to have your wedding ceremony outside and for large weddings over 150 a marquee is available upon request.
