Born in 2005, Belhaven Bikes is based in John Muir's birthplace Dunbar. We serve our community and beyond, specialising in bike and e-bike sales, servicing, repairs and hire.
Whether you are looking to explore some of the scenic roads and trails or a section of the John Muir Way in East Lothian, we have a selection of comfort and hardtail mountain bikes for hire which are suited to the county's varied terrain. E-bikes are also available.
Our hire bikes are fitted with full mudguards, a rear rack and puncture resistant tyres. The rental package includes: a pannier, pump, lock, tools, and maps. Additional panniers and helmets are available. Delivery and collection can be arranged. Bike hire starts from £8 per half day.
In addition to our hire service we sell bikes, e-bikes, scooters and skateboards for all generations to have fun on and love to give a wide choice so all tastes and budgets are catered for.
We can also get you back on the road again after a service or repairs in our Cytech Accredited workshop. Our specialist e-bike training enables us to also handle electric bike servicing and repairs.
We are mindful of keeping our business low impact so we recycle/re-use parts, cardboard, metal, paper, tyres and use environmentally friendly products.
