No. 37 is just perfect for two. This charming little mid-terrace lower cottage is located in the most wonderful setting for a holiday by the sea, right on the lower quayside at the harbour. The cottage was built 150 years ago for local fishermen who worked out of the harbour; you can still see the scars on the windsill where they sharpened their knives for gutting the fish! The North Berwick harbour area is almost on a its own island, built on a little peninsula which juts out into the sea. This makes for amazing views to the west sands from the sitting room window, and the feeling that you are in your own separate little part of town.
