If you fancy afternoon tea with pygmy goats or lunch with panoramic views across the Firth of Forth, we can offer both. And if you want to treat yourself to some delicious local produce, we can provide that too in our farm shops.

The Bus Stop, Bankrugg Farm
Balfour, Sandy and Elaine Stewart welcome you to The Bus Stop, where you can stay in beautifully converted buses on their arable farm near Gifford, with views across to the Lammermuirs. Enjoy a Goat Tea, meet alpacas, and visit the chickens in their own bus!
Barney Mains Farm Cottage
Just minutes from the market town of Haddington, this charming stone-built, two-bedroom cottage is situated on a working farm. With stunning views, and easy access to the A1, it’s an ideal base to explore all that East Lothian has to offer.
Carfrae Farm Shop & Cottages
Nestled in the Lammermuirs, Carfrae Farm is home to third-generation farmers Trudi and Eric. Located near Gifford and Haddington, the cottages offer easy access to local eateries and shops. Drift, Castleton Farm
Owned by the McNicol family, this café, housed in a converted shipping container, offers panoramic views of the sea and the Bass Rock, no matter the weather. Located just outside North Berwick perched on the cliff tops, it’s a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch, followed by a stroll into town or to Tantallon Castle just minutes away.
Rock and Castle Escapes, Auldhame Farm
The Dale family have been farming here since 1834. Featuring six luxury Igluhuts, the first of their kind in Scotland. Each accommodating two adults with views of both the sea and the hills from your own private decking. Within walking distance to Tantallon Castle, Seacliff beach and neighbouring farm café, Drift.
Jersusalem Farm Pods, Jersusalem Farm
Run by Nicola and her dad Drew, Jerusalem Farm has been family-owned since 1936. The farm pods introduced in 2022, offer scenic views of the Lammermuirs and are perfectly located near to the village of Pencaitland and within easy reach of Haddington.
Brand Family Larder and Caravan parks, East Fortune Farm
The Brand family, farming here since 1931, have a mixture of livestock on this working farm including sheep and pigs. Jane and her family also operate two caravan parks and an impressive farm shop showcasing local produce, including their own eggs and meat.
