A series of classical music concerts featuring top rank artists in beautiful locations around East Lothian.
This year, the festival presents the Philharmonic Orchestra, I Fagiolini, Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Rinaldo Alessandrini directs Monteverdi and Scottish Opera. Outstanding cellist and Royal Philharmonic Society Artist of the Year, Laura ve der Heijden is artist in residence. There's a choice of great chamber music from the Van Baerle Trio and the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective and the Dudok, Carducci and Maxwell String Quartets. Add the Royal Northern Sinfonia and solo appearances of Elena Urioste, Maria Wloszczowska, Tim Ridout and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, and many others.
